Happier, Healthier, Employer: How Can Comedy Help?

Our health and wellbeing in the workplace workshops help staff to connect with others, encourage new relationships and create empathy with colleagues. The sessions focus on displaying how humour can be used as a tool to increase well-being and build resilience both within the workplace and everyday life.

Work-related stress accounts for over a third of all new incidences of ill health and in 2019, 12.4 million days were lost due to stress, according to figures from The Health and Safety Executive.

Laughter stimulates the release of good hormones in your brain, which can improve your immune system and reduce stress. Taking part in a comedy or laughter workshop can therefore not only help to de-stress staff but can impact the overall morale of the team and workplace.

Participants will:

  • Understand how laughter makes us feel and the associated health benefits

  • Understand how laughter and humour can help us connect with other people and build relationships

  • Understand how humour can build resilience and help us problem solve

  • Understand how breaking a negative / repetitive pattern can help create more happiness within our lives

We pride ourselves in providing the best possible service for our clients. Therefore, each session can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the group, organisation or individual.
